Pipeline on a rising swell January 19th, 2011.  Professional surfing is overhyping this swell just so they can whore themselves out and trick people into thinking the prestigious Eddie Aikau Big Wave Surfing invitational is happening.  At 16 ft 17 seconds on buoy one I don’t know who they are trying to kid.  Surfing = Don’t Believe the Hype.  Meanwhile bodyboarders go off right before dark at Pipe.

The past few weeks have brought consistent rain runoff onto shorelines  around the state.  The north shore of Oahu is still pumping with sick waves and bodyboarders cannot resist riding these chocolate tubes.  Check da vid!  Switch to HD mode for highest quality.

and man chooses to challenge nature…Brian Wise, Happy Zurowski & Mark Balasbas decided to start a beautiful day off with a nice little wake up call.  Watch and see as they attempt to challenge shorebreak waves breaking on just a few inches of water.  Not the safest activity to try without years of experience.  Take that for what it’s worth to you but don’t take mother nature lightly.
