Welcome to November
It was a day for bodyboarding indeed and the start of a November to remember. On the 1st of the month Pipeline exceeded it’s maximum height and was out of control in the pre dawn hours. Die hard locals Pyper, Timmy, Da Hapz, Dubb, JB & Chris Kalima went out for the battle. Allistair Taylor & annual visitor and pipe charger Mike Murphy also joined the crew. The sets peaked out at 15 feet+ until about 8:30am. Until that time the current was like that of a river rapid. Soon enough the sun started to show and the swell had calmed to a perfect 8-12 foot Pipeline dream. Pictured in this photo is Mike Stewart. Mike seems to be flawlessly scooping into a perfect peaky 10 foot pipeline wave. Andrew Rams Photo showed the aloha spirit by donating this epic shot. Andrew can be found documenting bodyboarding’s talent island wide.
